Publicity Secretary of Scott Valley Pleasure Park Association, which sponsors two rodeos each year and shares a privately-owned rodeo arena, concession stands, picnic area and softball field with the community.

Active in Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints serving in the Relief Society and as Ward Choir Director.

Organize the Rodeo Royalty Committee's annual Queen Contest.

Write a weekly "Garden Column" for Pioneer Press.
